La Gender Inc. and TILT a Transgender Support group located in downtown Atlanta attended the
Transforming Justice Conference Oct. 13-15 2007 . The conference focused on the issues Transgender
prisoners face while incarcerated such as discrimination abuse ,sexual assaults,corporal punishment
intimate partner violence, no access to proper medical care. It also focused on Advocacy for
Trans-prisoners and their rights.
