AIDS MEMORIAL QUILT WORKSHOP
The staff from the AIDS Memorial Quilt org., Jada, Marketta,Gert came to our
spiritual support group and brought all the materials sequin ,feathers,and all the
lovely shiny things we like to create with and lets not forget much love and
patience. This was a historic event for African American Transgenders, because
of the fact there were only a very very small number of quilt panels representing
our loved ones who have passed from this dreadful disease and also in the
African American community as a whole only about 400 panels have been
created out os the hundreds os thousands of AA who have succumed to this
disease.
